1. Swimming suit and arm bands if needed
If there is a pool where you are staying don't forget to pack both yours and your child's swimming suit/shorts  and arm bands. It will save you searching around the shops once you are there and you can just dive into your holiday.

5. Food and snacks

Whether you are flying, driving or taking a coach or train to another part of the UK you will want to make sure you have plenty of food. Snacks and food on public transport and at airports can be very expensive so be prepared. It is worth noting you can't take drinks through departures at the airport though.
